I can’t wait. Its March and I am coming down with a wonderful syndrome, which is called trout fever! I can’t wait, this is what I have been waiting for. This is why I spent all winter tying my flies. I believe they stock the week of April 9? I don’t know. At the NJ department of fish and wildlife’s website, its hard to find anything. So many useless documents, that I don’t need to know about. Last year was not that good fly fishing. But this year I get to go fishing early. As soon as March 19 because, that when Big Browns opens. Big Browns fish and pay lakes, are pay lakes in Pennsylvania. awesome place to test out your flies. It’s great because they have 3 lakes. One is for trout, the one next to it is for hybrids and bass (both large and small mouth) and there is a beginners pool which is for little kids to go catch fish. I have never fished the bass side of the lake because its catch and keep, no release. They should make it that at least you only have to keep every other one instead of everyone. Now about crabbing season. The beautiful blue crab(not its pincher). I got some more crab traps ( now i have 3) and I can’t wait. I got special crab gloves so that will be better. I also got a bushel basket to measure a bushel. I’m going to get a flip video camera and a hat cam. You attach the camera to the hat so I can film stuff. I going to put it on YouTube and I will put a link to that in my blog.
